Anna's fever has been gone for almost 2 full days now and it appears that the sores are healing in her mouth. This morning Anna woke up happy and ready to play! Her appetite is returning, as is her energy...and what a perfect day for that to happen! It just so happened to be the same day that summer decided to show up in our great state.
So, we spent the morning at Grandma Mary's house playing toys and keeping cool, and enjoyed a yummy lunch and a nice nap for all 3 of us. Then it was off to the local waterpark to check things out. Unfortunately I forgot my camera so I have no pictures to show you, but this place is amazing!! There were water slides and a lazy river for the big kids (and adults) and then a huge zero entry pool area with waterfalls, a baby waterslide, fountains and more for the little tykes. Anna splashed and swam and had a grand time. She didn't want to leave the water even when her lips were blue!
They also have a huge sand area for building sand castles and playing like you would at the beach. We will certainly return there again this summer! What a great way to kick off the summer and to spend the first day being well again.
I'll try to snap some pictures tomorrow since it's been a few days so all of the grandparents can remember what little Anna looks like with a smile on!

Anna it is good to hear that you are feeling better. Thankyou for calling and singing the P sound for Papa, it sure adds some fun to the day.We are waiting for you and mom and dad to come for the 4 th. Love Nana and Papa
