It's been a fun week around here celebrating Halloween. Early in the week, bound to the house given Emmett's croup, Anna and I made some ghosts to hang in our tree in the front yard. Armed with garbage bags, paper towels and a sharpie...Anna got to work. She later admired her ghosts flying in the windy October air.

Late in the week Anna had a Halloween party at preschool - they carved a huge pumpkin and enjoyed each other's creative costumes. Our little flower fairy had a dazzling time!

And then we hosted our 4th or 5th annual (
I'm not sure which) pumpkin carving party later that same day. Uncle Patrick & Auntie Tanya came, Grandma Mary...and we even had a special guest...

Can you believe that Jim? Brett Favre?! In our home? And only 2 days before the big game. Huh, imagine that.
Ahem, we had a great time carving pumpkins and relaxing. Our pumpkins turned out pretty good too...Auntie Tanya and Uncle Matt (I mean Brett Favre)'s were by far the best.
Of course trick-or-treating was a blast last night as well! Anna enjoyed going around the neighborhood, and especially enjoyed handing out candy to all of the kids who came to the door. She indulged in one of her treats upon her return home and you would have thought someone just gave her a million dollars. The smiles were endless. Holidays are so much fun, don't you think?
