Today marks 5 months since the day Anna was born. Hard to believe it was that long ago...it seems that time has flown by. And what changes we have witnessed! From a wee one weighing less than 7 lbs, Anna is now approaching twice that weight. She smiles, rolls over (sometimes), laughs, giggles, reaches for toys, cuddles, plays, and almost sits up on her own. Her personality is emerging more and more each day. I am so grateful for this wonderful little girl. She brightens every day - even the negative 15 degree days when there isn't much to do.
Two of our friends had babies this week! Joseph Douglas Kostolnik was born on Monday afternoon - another boy for Bethany and Matt. Their son William will be a great big brother. I am very excited to go and meet little Joey on Thursday! And then Tuesday morning Tyler James Buffo was born - Jim and Allison's first baby. We are looking forward to meeting him soon too. Exciting times like these remind me of the first few days and weeks when Anna was born. What a wonderful experience, and what a MIRACLE.

Each day is a new discovery...for her and for us. The miracle of growth and development in her first year gives us much to be grateful for. Anna is such a gift to us. Thank you God!
