This morning Anna and I headed to a nearby park reserve where there is a swim pond. It's a man made pond that has a very gradual slope and is only 6 feet deep at it's deepest point. It has a sandy bottom, so it makes for a lot of fun. Anna and I sat in the sand and water for about an hour, playing with the kids nearby. Anna loved the sand, it was a new experience for her! She even tasted it!
Then we found some shade in a nearby grassy area and had a picnic lunch. Anna had strawberries, pineapple and kiwi and even tried to feed herself with the spoon! It was a lot of fun! We'll definitely return to that park soon!
