Puppet Wagon

Yesterday Anna and I braved the heat, along with a number of the neighborhood kids and went to our neighborhood park for the Puppet Wagon. Run by the city, they visit most of the parks throughout the week and we are lucky to get them on Thursdays - right in our backyard! It was really fun, as you can see from Anna's face in this picture - she was very interested! She squealed and even danced along with the puppets and the other kids while the music played.

What a great thing for the city to do! Since it was so hot yesterday, we spent the rest of the day playing inside - with the exception of a few trips around town.

New this week: When you ask Anna "what does the lion say?", she will respond with "roooaaar" in her low voice. :)

I had to add this picture of Anna smiling SO BIG - in her cute dress that G & G D picked up in FL for her this winter. So cute!

What a fun way to spend time each week...and it's so close to home.
It's nice to know Anna can enjoy being with other children and everyone is having fun.
Summer has come on full force this week. Stay cool!
