alarm clock goes polite

Look what I woke up to this morning...

We are working on manners in our house, reminding Anna often how to use her nice words and her nice voice when asking for things. Instead of demanding "Anna want some milk!", we remind her to ask "Will you get me some milk please?"

This morning Anna took these lessons to her alarm clock. Instead of "Mommy WAKE UP!", I heard a gentle little "Mommy, will you come get you please?" come over the monitor. With a request like that, and a smile like this...how can you refuse? Even if it is still in the 6's. :)
