As I have mentioned before, Anna is most certainly a social creature. I am quickly learning that this is both a blessing, and well...the opposite of that too.
It is certainly a blessing at times when you might wonder "what does Anna want?" and she will reply with something along the lines of "cwacker" or "bana" or "water".
It is a blessing when you want to have a conversation in the middle of the day and your daughter can babble back to you.
It is a blessing when you go somewhere new and she will enter the room without fear, opting not to cling to your leg, cry or hang on you. And when you can leave her with someone other than you or your husband.
It is a blessing when it's cute - to you and the others around you.
It is a blessing 99% of the time.
It is, however, not a blessing when:
You are in a public place and your daughter vocalizes how she wants a cwacker/bana/water over and OVER, getting louder and LOUDER until you can feel the stares of those around you telepathicly saying "GIVE HER THE DARN CRACKER/BANANA/WATER OR WHATEVER SHE WANTS SO SHE QUIETS DOWN".
You are at the doctor's office and your daughter is hugging and kissing all of the kids in the waiting room, likely contracting whatever disease it is they have carried there. Not to mention scaring the moms of those little ones into thinking "what illness is she passing to them?!"
You are at music, and 2 weeks into the class EVERYONE there knows your child by name because she has indeed kissed & hugged their child (and them), sat on their lap, beeped their nose, and has likely stolen an instrument from their unsuspecting son or daughter.
Just to name a few.
